Product information
Cublen D series is a series of highly effective phosphonates for the prevention of precipitation in all kinds of pipes. This range has an excellent quality to price ratio making it a very popular product in many markets.
Due to strong binding with metal ions, this substance prevents the precipitation of limestone, chalk, iron oxide and it has very strong inhibition of barium sulphate precipitation.
In addition to preventing precipitation, it is also an excellent stabilizer of peroxides. Even with manganese, copper and iron ions in solution, known catalysts in the decomposition of peroxide, there is significant prolongation of stability.
It can also be used as a hyperdispersant and retarder in cementitious building materials.
The material is available as an acid (CAS: 15827-60-8), sodium salt (CAS: 22042-96-2) and as a potassium salt (CAS: 84852-49-3)
