SOLSPERSE 74000 is a 100% active polymeric dispersant designed to enhance pigment dispersion and stability in UV-cured flexographic, offset, and digital inks. This advanced product offers improved performance and efficiency in various printing applications.
Typical Applications:
UV-cured printing inks, including:
- Flexographic inks
- Offset inks
- Digital inks
User Guidelines:
- Dissolve SOLSPERSE 74000 in the millbase monomer/oligomer before adding pigment.
- Dosage based on pigment surface area: typically 2mg active dispersant per square meter of pigment surface area.
- Calculate dosage: Surface area divided by 5 = % dispersant on weight of pigment
- For digital inks, consider higher dosages of 4-10mg active dispersant per weight of pigment.
- For 6mg dosage, calculate: Surface area divided by 1.66 = % active dispersant on weight of pigment.
- Test dosage levels 20-25% below the guideline for potential efficiency benefits.
