BLISTER FREE 75 is a defoamer specifically formulated for use in both solvent-borne and water-based coating systems. This silicone-free product, based on a polymer in a solvent mixture, effectively suppresses the formation of air bubbles in coatings and printing inks, preventing cratering and often enhancing leveling.
Typical Applications:
- Solvent-borne systems: NC-systems, AC- and epoxy-systems, PU and air-drying acrylic systems
- Water-based systems: Long oil alkyds, medium oil alkyds, acrylate/medium oil alkyds, acrylate/long oil alkyds, epoxides
User Guideline:
BLISTER FREE 75 should be added to the paint before pigment milling. If added later, ensure it is evenly distributed. The recommended dosage ranges from 0.05% to 0.50% of the total system. Due to the small quantity used, it is advisable to pre-dilute with a solvent from the system.
Storage/RRD:
Store BLISTER FREE 75 in a cool, well-ventilated area. Stir before use and ensure the container is closed after use. The product remains stable for at least two years under appropriate storage conditions.
