Chemical Name: 3-(2-Aminoethylamino)propyl-dimethoxymethylsilane
ICS-602 is used as a super-softerner when used to modify organo-silicone components, it will improve the textile affinity of the final product. Because of this an improved softness, decrease in creases and an anti-static effect can be attained in laundry softeners.
A second application is an adhesion promoter, cross linker, dispersant and compatibilizer of inorganic fillers, fibers and powders in epoxy formulations. Improvement of the adhesion is most visible on inorganic substrates such as metal, glass and silicates.
APPLICATIONS:
Amine modification of silicone oil, paint and coatings, inks, adhesives, composites, epoxy-based systems and melamine systems.
