Product information
Capsil® clay fillers are available in different compositions for specific applications and products. Each Capsil® has different properties that make it suitable for different application.
Capsil® 2004 R is a special kaolin filler with extra fine particle sizes. It is resistant to thermal deformation, acid-proof, has a high viscosity and good mechanical workability. It is suitable for rubber and natural rubber compounds, adhesives, thermoplastics and plastic coatings. With Capsil® 2004R, positive experiences have been made, especially when used with rubber.
Capsil® 2004 is a slightly larger particle size mineral powder that is rich in mica. It is resistant to thermal deformation, acid-proof, has a low viscosity and good mechanical workability. It is used as a special filler for adhesives, thermosetting plastics, coatings, rubber and natural rubber compounds.
Capsil® 1050A is a mineral blent of kaolinite, illite and silica. This makes it an low cost multi-purpose filler that is required for a wide range of applications that do not require filler pretreatment.
Capsil® 804-D is a grey mineral powder rich in mica with excellent strengthening due to its high aspect ratio. Further it is resistant to thermal deformation and has a good mechanical workability. Capsil® 804-D can be used as a universal filler with strengthening properties, passivating filler for corrosion prevention and rheological suspending agent. It is suitable for a wide range of applications that do not require filler pretreatment.
Capsil® 103 is a mineral blend of mainly silica and kaolinite which offers high resistance against acids and chemicals, high resistance against thermal deformation and is very finely ground. Therefore, it is a special-purpose filler with strengthening properties for rubber and natural rubber compounds, thermosetting plastics and in organic and minerally bound materials.
With Capsil® 2002, Capsil®, Capsil® BT 2011 and Capsil® Rheo-white TR in addition there are in total 8 Capsil® clay products for different applications. We from ICS would be happy to help you find the right Clay filler for you.
